This past week ended up flying by! We enjoyed lots of time with family! Grandma Cindy came to visit us for a few days. Micah loved playing with her, and it was so nice to see her day after day! The picture above was taken Wednesday. My sister Amanda came in town with our nephews. This is Seth and Uncle J playing at the park after we our picnic. Fun times!
We've been enjoying this unseasonably cool weather and all the fresh produce that summer brings...complements of Grandma Kate.
In other news, we are preparing for a trip to Oregon at the end of the month. My cousin is getting married outside of Portland, so we decided to take some extra time and see the west coast. We can't wait! We will fly out of KC, and then return to KC in time to spend some extra time with Jason's family and attend HIS cousin's wedding over Labor Day weekend. I'm sure it will be exhausting, but we are super excited to take our first real family vacation!

"Near....Far..." - makes me think of Seasame Street. I can't believe how big Micah is! He looks less like a baby and more like a little boy now!
I haven't seen you since we found out about your new home! Congrats you guys--how crazy is it we made offers like one day apart!? I think we were one day before you. We can't wait to see it! Do you have an idea of when you'll be moving in?
I can't believe this is the first time I read your blog! I will make sure to keep updated on "A tribe called Blackley" (love that by the way!) So creative! Unlike "the bishop's" :)
