I love my husband because:
He's was made for me- Jason and I will celebrate our 7th wedding anniversary come September. Below is a picture from our wedding (sorry its so small, I stole it off Facebook). Although we are very different people, we are similar in the ways that matter most. He is sensitive when I need him to be, yet does a great job at being the leader in our home. I am attracted physically and emotionally to this man. This man that was made just for me!
He's a good sport- If you know Jason at all, you know he is quite coordinated and good at sports. He played all kinds of sports growing up and is very knowledgeable when it comes to athletics. I, on the other hand, grew up playing very little sports and can barely walk and chew gum at the same time, let alone throw or hit a ball. While I do find it attractive that my husband is sporty and good at it, I find it more attractive that he is a good sport. In the picture below he is holding Micah when he was two months old. I don't know if you can tell at all, but they are both wearing santa hats. Now, I can guarantee this was not Jason's idea, but he went right along! He is so patient and willing to listen to someone even if what they're saying makes absolutely no sense! He doesn't rub it in your face that he's better at basketball than you or that he has more whit.
He is a great daddy- Obviously when you are looking to marry someone you think about what kind of parent they would make. I always thought Jason was good with kids, he was patient, but also knew how to rough house and play around. Now that we have two boys of our own, I am blown away at how great he is with them. Jason loves to teach Micah new things, but also lays down the law and steps in to discipline when needed. He isn't afraid to hold a screaming baby, and will take said screaming baby from my arms even when I'm not quite ready to give them up. He has stood beside me through the birth of both of our boys and encouraged me in ways only he could. While we were going through our miscarriages he never shied away or avoided hard conversations. In fact, he made phone calls-breaking the bad news to family when I couldn't. He loves his boys and would do anything for them, but isn't willing to take the easy way and doesn't let them (well, Micah at this point) get away with being rude or disrespectful...he wants more for his boys! Being a parent with Jason just makes me that more attracted to him!

He loves art- One thing that really attracted me to Jason when we first began to date was that he wasn't afraid to admit that he loved art, every kind of art! He loves blues and Jazz music, enjoys going to art fairs and seeing different paintings, and loves photography. Many of our vacations have involved going to various museums, concerts, and other art venues. In fact, when we lived in KC we had season tickets two summers in a row to an outdoor theater that put on 5 or 6 broadway shows a year. We've had so much fun enjoying 'the arts' together. The picture below was taken on our vacation to Chicago a few years ago. We went to the Museum of Natural History.

He loves friends and good fellowship- I really wish this picture was bigger, once again stolen off of Facebook. It is a picture of us with some of our good friends during a fun night of 'Mystery Dinner' Jason is in front, as Andy Worhol, and I'm in back...I don't even remember who I was supposed to be! Anyway, I love how Jason is great with other people. He isn't afraid to get to know someone or to let them get to know him. One of our favorite things to do is is to get together with great friends and enjoy each other's company. I feel like this is something that I take for granted all too often, and then I realize that not every couple has that in common.

I am so thankful that the Lord has blessed me with a great husband! I have done nothing to deserve his love and feel extremely blessed to have Jason in my life!!!
Love you Babe!
