Photo-palooza

I just got a new phone.  It's funny how you don't know what you are missing out on until you have it.
My old phone used to take forever to send messages, and even then it had a 160 character limit.
We've been pricing new phones for a while, and finally decided to get a simple 'smart phone'.  It is SO much easier to use.  In this season of life I do very little talking on the phone, so having the ability to communicate via text, and sometimes email is very liberating.
That being said, Jason and I have some ground rules for the use of our smart phones.  We don't want them to become a hindrance to our 'real lives'.  They are tools, not the object of our affection.

Since I got a new phone, I sent all of my pictures on my old phone to Jason, who then uploaded them to our
computer.  I got my old phone when Jude was just a baby, so there were all kinds of gems on there.
I thought I'd share a few recent pictures, as it is a rarity that I carry my camera anymore.
It is much easier to take pictures with my phone and then upload them.
Enough with the details, on to the pictures:
Eli has followed suit with the other two boys and has no interest in eating pureed baby food.
Honestly, it's fine by me.  It's messy, gross, and honestly a LOT of work to do baby food.  Nevermind WAY over priced!
We've just introduced finger foods slowly with all of our boys, and well, they're still alive.
He loves strawberries, bananas, pear, and apple-although, now that he's gotten the biting part down I'm having to be careful what I give him.  He can bite off a huge chunk of apple or carrot now!
He has also learned what the camera is, so any time you point it at him he puts on his 'cheese face'.
Seriously, adorable!

My sad, and slightly embarrassing, attempt at being a 'fun mom'.  I'm wearing Micah's 'Where's Waldo' glasses.

Jude turned 3 last week, and Micah picked out a 'farmer hat' for him as part of his
gift.  Eli likes it too!

There aren't many perks to living in a condo with 3 small boys, but the GIANT hill of snow produced by the  parking lot being plowed is one of them.  The boys would've slept out there if I hadn't bribed them with hot cocoa.  Jude found a little crevice to hide in.  He was in heaven!

This picture is probably 6 months old, but I still love it.  It captures Jude's personality well, as does the next picture...

I mean, seriously.  I need pictures like this to remind me just how much I love him.
He is the tool that is constantly refining me.  I love him SO much, I really do.

This picture is a couple of months old, when Eli was just starting to move.  He seemed to
only move in reverse, always jamming himself under the chair.
That is a thing of the past.  This boy is ON THE MOVE!  He can get almost anywhere he
wants, and is starting to pull himself up.  Look out world!

Another old one from Feb/March.  I'm trying to get better at being in photos with the boys.
I know someday I'll appreciate it.

We all got the stomach flu the first week of March.  This picture was so sad, yet so precious.  Micah
rarely falls asleep during the day, even during his daily 'rest time'.  He was so wiped out that day that he took a 4 hour nap, and then came out to the couch and slept 2 more hours!! Poor little guy.
I'm so glad that nasty bug is behind us.

Hopefully now that I have a more simple form of taking/uploading pictures I'll be better at doing just that.
But we'll see!
