5 months and counting!

Since Micah is almost 6 months old, I thought I'd better upload his five month pictures!
While uploading these pictures I took a moment to watch a couple of videos of him when he was around 2 months old. Its crazy what a difference 3 or 4 months makes in a baby's development. His movements were so involuntary and spastic, now they're...well, spastic, but more voluntary and intentional. He is becoming cuter and cuter every day. It is truly an honor to be his mother and to see him smile and to feel him dig his head into my shoulder when I pick him up. He is becoming quite the blabber mouth also, but we can't quite make out the words yet ;) We think he is working on some teeth, but who knows how long that will take. He is constantly chewing on his fingers and drooling like crazy! Along with this wonderful develpment he has a killer cold right now...so he's extra ooey and gooey! He defintely had snot on his forehead when I got him up from his nap yesterday!

Speaking of sleep, Micah has developed a super human bladder and chooses to empty it when he sleeps. No kidding, we change his bed pretty much every time we get him out of it. Unfortunately, we only own three sheets, so it is quite challenge to keep one clean. Part of the problem is that he can roll now, so he sleeps on his tummy. I make sure his little, ya know, weiner is pointed down when I put on his diaper, but I think since he's sleeping on his tummy all the pee just shoots right out the diaper. Look at what a handsome devil he's becoming! Seriously, besides the whole slouched sitting he practically looks like a man!

I LOVE LOVE this picture! If only I was a better photographer. He loves to stick that little tongue out, and he loves his daddy! Too cute!
