Don't Be Jealous of This Booty!

While I love this little booty, and am quite honestly jealous of it, this is not the booty I'm talking about.

Over the past week I have gotten in on some great steals and thought I'd share them with you. Sometimes I am amazed at God's provisions, other times I totally miss them. Today I am amazed!

Jason always makes fun of me for checking Craig's List incessantly and almost obsessivly, he always asks me what I'm looking for. I tell him 'I don't know yet.' Now I know what I've been looking for!
Sunday night I decided to check Craig's List once more. I found an ad for 11 medium sized FuzziBunz. Monday morning I paced around the house until 7:55 ( I didn't want to call too early, but also didn't want to miss out on a good opportunity). Finally I made the call and just caught "Sasha" heading out the door to take her kids to school. She agreed to meet me at the playground near the IC Public Library at 9:30 to check out the Fuzz. They were in GREAT shape, and obviously I bought them. She even threw in an extra one for free because it had a small pin sized hole near one of the snaps. Let me tell you, many of Micah's Fuzz have 'pin sized holes' and they work fine. When it was all said and done I got 12 FuzziBunz for $100! Thats cheap...even for used! Thank you Lord!


Our GoodWill has quarter day every Wednesday. They pick a color of tag and every clothing item with that color of tag is 25 cents. I stopped by after my outing with Steph and Missy (see below) and scored big time! I walked out of there with 25 items and spent a total of $6.25. Some of the clothes were for Micah, others for his cousins, and even some more for some of his friends. At 25 cents I just couldn't say 'no'...and two of the items still had the tags on them! Crazy!

Wednesday am (at the butt-crack of dawn) I picked up Stephanie, Violet, Missy, and Forest in our handy-dandy mini-van. We scurried down to Amish country to grab some great deals at the 'bent-and-dent' (its actually called Country Discount Store, but bent-and-dent is cooler to say!). What is the bent-and-dent you ask? It is a Amish run store where they sell items that are either damaged (thus the bent-and-dent name) or newly expired. The deals you can get are too good to pass up, even if they are a little 'old'. For example, Power Bars are 15 cents as opposed to over a dollar at the REAL grocery store.

Anyway, I digress. We got there at around 7:40...like I said, the butt-crack of dawn, and took a number. I was number 55...meaning there were 55 people in front of me...and it didn't open for 20 more minutes!

This box is filled with great buys! Once again, God's provision is awesome. Not only through food, but through the great company I was blessed with on the drive down and back. We had a great time, except when Forest choked on his cereal and the converstion we had about child birth!
