The past two weeks have NOT been rather long and seemed to last forever. No, they flew right by! The puking and nose blowing are just a faint memory in my mind. I am NOT totally blessed with a super supportive husband, who definitely did NOT have to put up with my whining. He also did NOT have to endure a 'barely live able' home for two weeks. No, I was very productive, I unpacked all of our boxes and cleaned the house from top to bottom. He definitely did NOT get sick of the all the unpacked boxes and start unpacking them himself. He is NOT awesome, NOT awesome at all. All this being said...I am NOT beginning to feel much better! I did NOT forget how good it feels to feel good!
I did NOT have a 15 week baby appointment on Friday, but if I would have I definitely would NOT have lost four pounds from my last appointment due to the lengthy illnesses as stated above. Food is NOT just now sounding good, and I can definitely taste everything I eat. Chocolate and mashed potatoes do NOT taste the same right now! I did NOT have to pee so bad at my appointment that I almost forgot to pee in the cup when the nurse asked me to. I also did NOT get the cup too full and spill some pee pee on my pants while trying to...well...maneuver the cup full of pee! No, I would never do that! And even if I did, I wouldn't tell you about it!
I also did NOT find an ink pen in a full load of freshly washed laundry. I am a very tedious, thorough laundress. I am great at getting stains out, and ALWAYS check pockets. My heart did NOT skip a beat and then begin beating again once I realized that the pen had exploded, but the ink only made it to the interior of the pen casing. I was NOT super thankful that it had not ruined a whole load of Micah's clothes!
I did NOT find this picture while downloading pictures onto my computer. I did NOT totally forget that Steph was so kind to come over and give me a little kick in the butt to get me motivated to pack before we moved. She also did NOT help occupy my child by sticking him in a box with her daughter, Violet! And then take a picture of it. Micah definitely isn't walking around in just his diaper, I would NEVER let my kid do that...
I also did NOT find the following picture on our camera. My husband is not a great photographer, and did NOT snap this precious picture of our son. I do NOT love it!!!
Saturday, Steph and I did NOT take a little road trip. No, we definitely would NOT take our kids out in freezing (literally) cold weather to have a little fun. If we were to have done this, though, the last place we would've gone was the fall festival in Van Buren County. It is NOT worth the drive, and we did NOT have a blast. We were NOT having second thoughts when it started to snow, and I mean snow! when we were only an hour into our drive!
Our trip also did NOT include a stop to see the buckskinners and eat some Indian fry bread. We did NOT end up at Andrea ( a friend of Steph, who has become a friend of mine) and her daughter Lainey's house. We did NOT get to see her barrel racing horses named Betty and Fajita! We did NOT have a great day, nor did we wear our kids out so much that they slept the whole way home!
Micah is NOT changing more and more every day. Jason did NOT teach him to say 'up'. I did NOT feel like somewhat of a loser mom when Jason told me this, I was NOT like 'why didn't I think of that?'.
There is NO way that he turns one on Sunday!!! I am NOT overwhelmed with emotion (some pregnancy-induced, some motherly) thinking back on the day of his birth and the last year. He does NOT make me more aware of the Lord's love and forgiveness for us. I am NOT completely blessed and honored to be trusted to care for this life.
