Fort Blackley

While Daddy was at a YAM (Young Adult Ministry) event the other night Micah and I made our first fort! I think it was just as much fun for me as it was for him. I loved building forts when I was little, whether it was in the hay bales or under a card table. Talk about hours of cheap entertainment!

It is so fun to watch our little guy become his own person. His personality is funny, yet strong willed at times. His ability to communicate, whether through sign language, pointing or speaking new words, grows every day!

Micah is slowly beginning to walk. He walks when he forgets he can walk, if he thinks too hard about it he just crawls! I think he has taken a whopping 6 steps in a row...but I told Jason that it didn't count because I didn't see it ;) For the most part he'll just take a few steps here and there, and then he will stand there and clap because he's so proud of himself! Too cute!

This much fun is bound to make one thirsty!

I think he likes it, don't you?!?!

"You comin' Mom?"

Oh, the joys of being a mother to a little boy. I have a feeling building forts is only the beginning.
Speaking of being a mother, we had our 20 week ultrasound last week. Everything went well, and baby #2 looks healthy! No, we didn't find out if it was a boy or a girl...you'll just have to check back come early April. At the rate I'm going, you'll be lucky if I update this blog before then. ;)
