Big Boy Bath and Brothers!

These boys are growing up too fast! I will welcome the full night's sleep, which can't be that far off-right?!?! BUT I'm enjoying the baby phase as much as I can right now!
Jude is changing so incredibly fast! It seems like he does something new every day. In all reality it's probably not a quick as it seems, but since he's the second, and I'm more distracted than I was with Micah, life seems to fly by. He cut his first two teeth last week. It stunk just as much as it did with Micah. Yup, still not a fan of the teething!
He has started to take to baby food more and more. He gets about two meals a day, if I can squeeze it all in! He also likes rice crackers and some corn cereal I found at Central Discount. For some reason he's not a fan of Cheerios or bananas, but I'm sure he'll outgrow that!
He is becoming more and more mobile. In the past few days he has pretty much perfected getting on all fours and rocking back and forth. He can crawl backwards, but hasn't quite figured out how to go forwards. Sitting up is getting better too! Christmas should be interesting!!!

I love my husband, he's such a great daddy to his little boys. He's not afraid to take them off my hands and rough house with them! He's the best!

Jude was getting a little too big for his baby bathtub. I had forgotten I had lent this ring to Emily for Memphis to use. She returned it a while back, so I got it out and decided to move Jude into it. He's only toppled over once in it. It scared Jason and I half to death, as he got a lung full of water when he fell over, but he recovered nicely! It was a good reminder to stay RIGHT BY the tub, not at the sink, when he's in there! Jason was in the bathroom and watched it happen, but was just a step or two away. He said Micah tried to catch Jude as he fell over! Brotherly love kickin' in already!

Micah loves having a playmate in the tub!

Silly boy! I can only imagine what Jude is thinking!

This picture is one of my favorites! I actually took it a few weeks ago when Jude would stay still long enough to use the play mat they're laying on. Note Micah not wearing any pants! It must've been warmer that day than it has been lately!

I know this picture is blurry, but it still cracks me up. Can't you just see what Jude will look like when he's 50? And Micah's the life of the party!
They're personalities are SO different. Yesterday we spent the day at my parent's while Jason went to Columbia, Mo for his follow-up appointment with Dr. Christ. My dad got out the tractor and took Jude for a quick ride while he did some work. Jude loved it. While I was standing in the yard, I turned around and saw Micah fussing about the tractor. He wasn't full-on crying, but he was definitely afraid! It's fun to see how different they are already! I can tell we've got our work cut out for us when it comes to Jude. He can be a little stinker!!! When I pray for him while putting him down for the night I pray that he'll be stubborn for the Lord and for the Gospel. Being stubborn isn't always a bad thing!

Checking your blog is one of my "favorite things" as Julie Andrews would sing. (Wonder if I could get that put to music?) All I can say right now is 'I am a blessed woman'. Grandma Kate

Oh my goodness they are so darn cute! Getting so big. I think that is one of God's biggest jokes. The second one is NOTHING like the first!
