Micah's Birthday Party

This blog post is almost an entire month behind...and for that I apologize. This last month has flown by! Nevertheless, Micah's Birthday party was a blast, and must documented in the blog.

We decided to go with an Elephant theme. We had make-your-own elephant trunks and banana elephant trunk desserts!

Jason's mom, sister and nephew came up for the day. We originally planned on having Micah's birthday party an a park, the weather ended up being kind of sketchy, so we ended up having the party at home. As you can tell by the looks of Micah's room after the party, the kids had a great time!

Ransacked...that's what I call it!

Grandma and her boys! There were a few more shots, but this was the best one. Getting 3 boys 2 and under to hold still is close to impossible!

Micah loved the pumpkin bars...or at least the frosting! Yup, he's two!

The kiddos making their elephant trunks.

Auntie Em and Jude, as you can tell Jude is a little tired? He was a trooper the whole day!

Missy helping the kiddos make their trunks.

This picture was too fun to not share!!! Micah loves his hats. He's eating the 'elephant trunks'. We took bananas, cut them in half, put a popsicle stick in one end and topped them with sprinkles and hershey's syrup!

The next two pictures were taken on Micah's actual birthday. Jason made him blueberry pancakes! He was still a little sleepy-eyed when we took these pictures!
Since having his birthday he calls all candles 'erfday' instead of 'candle'!
