11 Months and Potty Time

Don't even think I'm trying to potty train our 11 month old! I wouldn't even go so far as to say we're potty training Micah. He has shown interest in potty training here and there, so we thought we'd get a few pair of undies to give him an idea of what he'll be wearing once he's trained. He specifically asked for Handy Manny undies. The only place we could find them was Sears, online. We decided, on a whim one day, to at the Sears near us and they had them on clearance! Score! He hasn't, by any means, crossed the bridge from diapers to underoos, but that's okay. He'll get there!

This picture cracks me up! He looks so much like my nephew in this picture! I know someday I'll laugh at the clutter in the background, for now I'll just ignore it.

Jason suggested I should name this blog post 'Heads or Tails'!

Jude will be one in just a little over a week! Really?!?! I cannot believe it! He's becoming more and more toddler-like and we're loving it! That being said, I think I need to read up on what to do about strong-willed children. He is SO different than Micah in this way! He has already started the screaming fits and throwing himself on the floor. Here we go!

I'm not really sure how we got him to sit still for this picture. He's all over the place, although not walking yet.
Here's a few more stats on the cutie-pie:
-Has 6 teeth, 4 top ones and 2 bottom. I think he's working on two more on the bottom right now.
-Walks along everything and behind lots of toys, but not on his own just yet.
-Says 'na-na' -we're not sure if this is 'no' or 'night night'. He is also saying 'da da' to Jason, and sometimes me, but sometimes he'll also say 'ma ma'.
-Climbs anything that he can.
-Signs all done and sometimes he'll sign 'more', but usually he just yells till he has more food.
-Speaking of food, no more baby food for this kid. I keep trying, which is a waste of time. He just wants to pick up food and eat it. I got video of him eating spaghetti the other night! It was epic!
-We just started giving him some cows milk every once in a while and he LOVES it! He'll suck down a sippy cup in no time!

So cute!

These next two pictures are my favorite! They are really starting to play well together. I PROMISE that I did not stage this picture! They will often climb into a box at the same time and play together! The rest of the time they're too busy harassing each other. It's a love-hate thing, and I have a feeling this is only the beginning.

'Cheese!' Micah says. At almost 2 1/2 years he's so fun. I love how he can actually tell us what's going on, how he's feeling and what he needs. It makes life a lot easier! He's such a timid little boy, but he's so cuddly and kind!
