A Tribe Called Blackley

So, in case you haven't noticed, I haven't updated my blog for quite some time. This is because our computer is 'sick'. Luckily we have this awesome friend by the name of Gabe Isbell who is looking at it for us.
This week has flown by! On Wed, the 4th, Jason's sister, Emily, had a little boy! Emily was scheduled to have a c-section on the 10th, but went into labor at 2 a.m. Wednesday. Memphis Gene entered this world with some trauma (thanks to the giant Blackley heads) and VERY low apgar scores, but is recovering nicely. Currently he is on CPAP, but we are hoping he will be strong enough today to stop needing the extra support. Emily is recovering well from her c-section and can't wait to hold her little boy! Congrats Emily!

This morning I got up WAY too early and met a few friends at Stuff, etc. (a local consigment shop) to take advantage of some great deals! Everything in the store was half off! I walked away with two grocery bags STUFFED with clothes for $42! I even found a KC Royals onesie for 50cents! Afterwards we were famished from shopping so hard, so we headed over to Village Inn and enjoyed a yummy breakfast sans children. I am so thankful for sisters in Christ with whom I can share my struggles and joys with! I am equally thankful for their husbands and mine for watching our children!

I love these pictures...besides the wadded up sheets in the background. My friend Mary gave 'baby Blackley' this cute tie die onesie, and Micah fianally fits into it!

Bath Time! He looked too cute an cozy not to snap a few pictures. He loves to suck on his fingers; I thought for sure he was going to be a thumb sucker, but he tends to go for his index fingers.

Look at this chubb! He doesn't seem all that chubby, then you get him naked and see how thick his thighs and arms are....too much fun!

So, this picture is at least a month old, but I ran across it the other day and I LOVE it! Micah is just so peaceful sleepin' on his daddy!
